Chronicles and Kings

Someone might ask when reading the Old Testament why the books of Kings and Chronicles share much of the same content.  Why recount the same events a second time?

Mark Haughwout M.A. discusses this matter in his essay titled “Chronicles and Kings, A Comparison”.  Mark gives much attention to help the reader identify different emphasis’  of the books while connecting the dots between the content in each of the books with when and who they were written towards.
